Open in Case of Emergency—City Aid Containers

As the Arab League funds the newest Palestinian bid for UN recognition of statehood, Egypt's new leadership sends frightening messages to Israel, and with the disturbing murders of Jewish tourists in Bulgaria, Israel has stepped up security and defensive measures. We've reported on the toll these threats have taken on children and families, and how our Israel relief efforts have included bomb shelter Survival Kits; we're excited to announce another new expansion—the City Aid Containers!
City Aid Containers (CACs) are actually 40' trailers—the kind you see on highways being pulled by semi-trucks. Organizations donating goods to us ship via these containers. As a wonderfully generous gesture, these organizations have donated some of these containers for us to use permanently. Rather than simply using them as storage around our warehouses, our Israeli relief director Jo Kaplan recommended using them as strategically-placed mini-warehouses.
