Terrorizing Israelis Overseas
In the past 18 months, 20 planned attacks against Israelis overseas have been thwarted. A week ago, a terrorist that was sent by Hezbollah was caught and apprehended in Cyprus who had been following Israeli tourists and mapping out plans against them. Then there was suicide bombing in Bulgaria attacking an Israeli tour bus parked at the airport that was packed with families and children. Five Israelis were killed, simply because they were Israeli and Jewish.
Excluding Israel on Counter-terrorism Efforts
A U.N. sponsored Global Counter-terrorism forum, which was hosted by the U.S.A, first met in Turkey and then held a further meeting in Madrid excluded Israel. In the discussion on victims of terror Israelis were not even mentioned. How the U.S. can host a forum on counter-terrorism and not include Israel is hard to imagine. Please email your congressman and the news outlets about this matter. It needs to be exposed!
Jerusalem is the Capital of Israel
As part of the BBC news organization's Olympic coverage, they wrote and posted on the internet about each country and their athletic representatives. They write on the Israel page that the seat of our government is in Jerusalem and note that most of the foreign embassies are located in Tel Aviv. We recognize Jerusalem not only as the seat of our government but as our nation's capital.
In other countries they specifically use the word "capital". Look at the page they use for the Israeli Olympic Team and then look at the page they have for Syria, noting that its capital is Damascus. Previously on the page they have for the runner from "Palestine" it stated that his capital was East Jerusalem, it has been changed to be its "intended seat" whose "administrative" capital is Ramallah.
The government of Israel is trying to take care of these discrepancies and have asked the B.B.C. to please change their website. It originally had a horribly violent picture of Israel with a beautiful one of Syria, which has already been changed to more neutral pictures.

Our athletes at the Olympics have made a video where they proclaim that Jerusalem is our capital.
Candid Camera Show in Egypt
Recently on television, Egyptian actors were brought in and thought that they were being interviewed by Israelis. The actors turned violent and used anti-Semitic slurs until they were eventually told that they were on the show Candid Camera. They were applauded for the anti-Semitic statements and violence against the other Egyptians who had been merely acting as if they were Israelis.
Munich Massacre Remembered
Forty year ago, during the Olympic Games held in Munich, Germany, 11 of the Israeli Olympic athletes and coaches were murdered by Arab terrorists. We remember them and think of them and their families. The Olympic Committee refused to remember them at the Opening Ceremony but we remember them and their families who are much in our heart.
In Zechariah 8:13 the Lord tells us,
"And it shall come to pass
That just as you were a curse among the nations,
O house of Judah and house of Israel,
So I will save you, and you shall be a blessing.
Do not fear,
Let your hands be strong.'"
