These words of Hannah hold great encouragement for each of us who suffer repeated loss from enemy attacks...confident that the Almighty One has dispatched His angelic protection over us, and will surely send His promised Messiah to our rescue!
These timeless words offer great courage to our IDF soldiers and us as well, who face continual threats from our enemies in nearby Gaza...especially having received nearly 100 rockets in the past few days.
Sde'rot...What an amazing example of G-D's protection and faithfulness...as more than 98% of the deadly rockets which are launched, fall out in the rolling Kibbutz fields surrounding our powerless Negev community. Thank You for your prayers!
PREPARING FOR WAR
It is also encouraging to see the Israeli Homeland Command working closely together with our outreach ministries to prepare for the reality of war; as Israel faces the threat of a 'nuclear Iran' and coordinated attacks planned by our neighbors. With the rapidly spreading effects of 'Arab Spring' into Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, we who live in Israel have much reason for concern. Nevertheless in the midst of it all, 'we know' The Almighty holds Israel safely within His care...just as He holds you, His faithful ones all around the world!
So once again, "Thank you for standing strong with us in prayer and support;" as together we serve and await for the redemption of this covenant Land and people!

Rocket Barrage Hits Southern Israel
Israel Today, Wednesday, October 2 - Ryan Jones
Palestinian terrorists operating out of the Gaza Strip launched more than 60 missiles and mortar shells into southern Israel on Wednesday morning, wounding at least five people.
Three of the five casualties were foreign workers, two of whom sustained critical injuries. A number of homes were damaged in the barrage.
At least seven of the larger missiles were intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome anti-missile system as they approached the coastal city of Ashkelon.
Israeli forces responded to the attacks by targeting several terrorist squads believed to be involved in the onslaught.
Gaza's Hamas rulers took credit for the bombardment, as well as for a roadside bombing along the Gaza security fence a day earlier that left an Israeli army officer critically wounded.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to respond to that earlier attack with serious force, and a senior Israeli army commander said "the time to launch a ground invasion of Gaza was rapidly approaching."

Israel Might Have to Invade Gaza, Again
Israel Today, Tuesday, October 23, 2012 -- Ryan Jones
Israeli political and military officials responded furiously on Tuesday to wounding of an Israeli army officer by a roadside bomb planted along the fence separating the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip from the rest of Israel.
The bomb was detonated against an Israeli army patrol near the Kissufim Crossing. The wounded officer suffered critical wounds to his face and limbs.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that while the violence had emanated from Gaza, its true source was Iran.
"Today we engaged in exchanges against terrorist aggression that comes from our southern border in Gaza, but it actually comes from Iran and a whole terror network that is supporting these attacks," said Netanyahu.
Hamas and its allied terror groups are known to receive moral, logistical and material support from the Iranian regime.
Netanyahu vowed that the response to Tuesday's attack and ongoing rocket fire against southern Israel would be severe.
"We will fight and we will hit them very, very hard," said Netanyahu. "The way to fight terror is to fight terror, and that we shall do with great force."
Just hours earlier, Col. Amir Baram, commander of one of Israel's top paratrooper units, told Channel 2 News that the Israeli army will likely have to launch another ground invasion of Gaza in the near future.
"I think there won't be a choice. We'll need to enter Gaza soon," said Baram, noting that the only way to truly cripple the terrorists' capabilities is to go house-to-house and destroy their weapons caches.
Israel last entered Gaza in force during the winter of 2008-2009. Despite the massive escalation in terrorist rocket fire that forced Israel to take action, the international community predictably blamed Israel for the conflict and its casualties.

A Red Carpet for Radicals at The White House

A year-long investigation by the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) has found that scores of known radical Islamists made hundreds of visits to the Obama White House, meeting with top administration officials.
Court documents and other records have identified many of these visitors as belonging to groups serving as fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and other Islamic militant organizations.
The IPT made the discovery combing through millions of White House visitor log entries. IPT compared the visitors' names with lists of known radical Islamists. Among the visitors were officials representing groups which have:
Been designated by the Department of Justice as unindicted co-conspirators in terrorist trials; Extolled Islamic terrorist groups including Hamas and Hizballah;
Obstructed terrorist investigations by instructing their followers not to cooperate with law enforcement;Promoted the incendiary conspiratorial allegation that the United States is engaged in a "war against Islam"—a leading tool in recruiting Muslims to carry out acts of terror; Repeatedly claimed that many of the Islamic terrorists convicted since 9-11 were framed by the U.S government as part of an anti-Muslim profiling campaign.
Individuals from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) visited the White House at least 20 times starting in 2009. In 2008, CAIR was listed as an un-indicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorist money laundering case in U.S. history – the trial of the Holy Land Foundation in which five HLF officials were convicted of funneling money to Hamas.
U.S. District Court Judge Jorge Solis later ruled that, "The Government has produced ample evidence to establish the association" of CAIR to Hamas, upholding their designations as unindicted co-conspirators. In 2008, the FBI formally ended all contact with CAIR because of its ties to Hamas.
In January 2004, Hussam Ayloush, executive director of CAIR's Los Angeles office, publicly defended Palestinian terror attacks in comments before Muslim students at the University of California – Los Angeles, saying that terrorists were exercising their "legitimate right" to defend themselves against Israeli occupation.
Ayloush, who was a delegate to the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., casts the United States as controlled by Israeli interests. At a 2008 CAIR banquet in San Diego, he imagined "an America that respects and humanizes religion. It's an America that is free to act on its values and not on the interests of any foreign lobby." In 2004, he said that the war on terror had become a "war on Muslims." Ayloush attended at least two White House meetings.
The logs show Ayloush met with Paul Monteiro, associate director of the White House Office of Public Engagement on July 8, 2011 and Amanda Brown, assistant to the White House director of political affairs Patrick Gaspard, on June 6, 2009.
According to reliable sources, Monteiro was White House liaison for secret contacts with CAIR, especially with Ayloush. IPT has learned that the White House logs curiously have omitted Ayloush's three meetings with two other senior White House officials.
Louay Safi, formerly executive director of the Islamic Society of North America, visited the White House twice – meeting in intimate settings with Paul Monteiro on June 29, 2011 and July 8, 2011.
Law enforcement first noticed Safi in 1995 when his voice was captured in an FBI wiretap of now-convicted Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami Al-Arian. At the time of his conversation with Al-Arian, Safi served as executive director of the International Institute of Islamic Thought, an organization listed in law-enforcement and in interna Muslim Brotherhood documents as one of the movement's top front groups in North America.
Safi also wrote for the Middle East Affairs Journal, produced by the United Association for Studies and Research (UASR). That group was established by Hamas deputy political leader Mousa Abu Marzook and part of the Hamas-support network called the "Palestine Committee."
Safi has repeatedly expressed understanding for the underlying causes that provoke terrorism: "Terrorism cannot be fought by...ignoring its root causes. The first step...is to examine the conditions that give rise to the anger, frustration, and desperation that fuel all terrorist acts." He also called Palestinian terrorists "freedom" fighters.
Esam Omeish, former head of the Muslim Brotherhood-created "Muslim American Society," visited the White House three times.
In 2000, Omeish personally hired the late terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki to be the imam of Falls Church, VA, Dar al-Hijrah mosque. According to IPT analysis, more terrorists have been linked to Dar Al-Hejrah since 9/11 than to any other mosque in America.
Omeish publicly mourned the Israeli airstrike that killed Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin at an April 10, 2004, MAS conference.

P.S. I found this interesting... Off-The-Grid-News is reporting that FEMA recently made a request for 420 Million more emergency food rations. What's so strange about that? FEMA normally maintains around 6 Million food reserves. Why go from 6 Million to 420 Million so fast? What is FEMA planning for?
