Immerse oneself in the meaning behind this “minor” holiday, and one may observe a very specific and intentional relationship between human beings, the earth, and the Creator. Could this be what Tu B’Shvat is all about? Yes, it is Rosh Hashanah La-Ilnot,“New Year for the Trees” but as always: G-d has integrated purpose into His instructions to us.
