The Jewish Path walking in the land

Ask an Israeli about an important event in his or her life, a marriage, career change or the birth or death of a loved one, and you are likely to hear it described in terms of its relationship to a crisis, a war or disaster. Consider ,דוד דגיםthe not uncommon testimony of the English-language web page of David’s Fish shop in Jerusalem, a landmark family-style store run by David and his son Tuvia, “a store…

Dallas based Zion oil and gas corporation scripturally to bound Israel

In 2015, French petroleum consultants, Beicip-Franlab, authored an independent study concluding that up to 6.6 billion barrels of oil “remain to be found” in the Levant Basin of Israel’s Jezreel Valley. In February of this year, Dallas and Caesarea-based Zion Oil and Gas Corporation announced the discovery of “free-flowing hydrocarbons” in Megiddo-Jezreel Well Number 1, their licensed exploration site lying in the virtual shadow of the ancient fortress city of Jezreel where, almost 3000 years earlier—after…

Appointment of Messianic Believer, Hananya Naftali, Stirs Controversy in Israel

On April 24th, 2018, news broke in Israel that Hananya Naftali, an Israeli Messianic Believer, had been appointed Deputy Media Advisor by the Netanyahu government. Less than a week later, in an online article at

The Holiday of Rosh Hashanah and the Lunar Calendar

Happy New Year! We are about to celebrate the Jewish year of 5779, which is believed to be the time since
the creation of the earth, calculated by rabbis who added up the ages of everybody mentioned in the Old Testament. As mentioned above the holiday which begins on the first day of Tishre occurs at the beginning of the seventh month of the year as ordained by G-d through Moses, and not the first, which is Nisan. The date changes each year on the Gregorian or Civil calendar because of the vagaries of the Jewish religious calendar which operates both according to the phases of the moon and to the movement of the sun around the earth.

Behold your G-d campaign – Jerusalem

This summer, Jerusalem was the universal focus of activity as it celebrated its 70th Anniversary. The U.S. Embassy also moved its
headquarters to Jerusalem, and therefore numerous festivities took place in Jerusalem and throughout the nation of Israel. As these joyful celebrations occurred, the forty-five year old ministry, Jews for Jesus made sure it was not left out of these historical occasions as it culminated its eighteen year old “Behold Your G-d Campaign” in Jerusalem, the city Yeshua lamented over and loved.
