Community as a Way of Life – A Look at the Gathering

“One generation will praise Your works, to another they will acclaim Your mighty acts” (Psalm 145:4 TLV). In Judaism, the concept of L’Dor VaDor (From Generation to Generation) is of utmost importance. It is written about in Scripture, and it is how the Jewish people are alive today. Passing down traditions, sharing stories and relaying customs for today are crucial to the storyline of the Jewish experience. Additionally, Messianic Jews have a deeper level of richness to pass down: the legacy of love and devotion to one another as displayed by our Master, Yeshua. On November 1–3, 2019 at Congregation Beth Yeshua in Philadelphia, PA, Messianic young adults came together for “The Gathering” to continue writing these stories. The weekend was a clear display of love, power, and unity in Messiah’s Name
